Your Account When you sign up at Tgater.com, we ask for your name, email address, and other identifying information. Don’t worry – this information is stored securely. We use your name to create a username and to allow others to search for you and your tailgate (if you have your event set to public). At times, we’ll email you with message notifications from other users, Tailgater feature information, and communication about your account. We’ll NEVER share your email address with third parties. Of course, you may decide not to share certain identifiable information with us, in which case we may not be able to provide certain features of the Service to you. It’s up to you what you divulge, and it can always be edited by logging on to your account. When you use our mobile apps and allow them to pinpoint your location, we’ll use that to help you navigate venues, check-in to tailgates, allow friends to find you, and serve you information from vendors based on your proximity to them. When you invite guests to your tailgate, we’ll send out emails on your behalf to your friends. Their emails will be stored securely as well and used for sending the invitation and updating their acceptance of your invitation on your tailgate page. Their emails will NEVER be shared with third parties. Advertisements Tailgater may employ the use of ad services or networks to serve you advertisements on Tgater.com. When an advertisement is displayed, the ad company automatically receives your unique IP address. We do not transmit your personal information to these services without your consent. Also, remember that advertisers may use cookies or other technology to identify you and our privacy policy does not apply to these third parties. Your computer For your convenience, Tailgater may store cookies on your computer to allow our site to quickly recognize your browser, allowing us to “remember” you, keep you logged in, or log you in faster once you arrive. Featured products Tailgater may offer you the ability to purchase featured products from companies we partner with.
